Needwood Beaders are a group of people with an interest in all aspects of beadwork. Our aim is to help members achieve a high standard of work, in the company of like-minded beaders.

We have a full programme with weekly classes, workshops and beading days. They are held in the village of Barton under Needwood, adjacent to the A38, just south of Burton upon Trent in Staffordshire.

We hold six events each year: 2 or 3 workshops with well known tutors and the remainder being ‘themed’ beading days. There is an annual beading competition.

Membership of Needwood Beaders costs £8 per year and for this one receives a newsletter twice a year, a free workshop day, discounted beading days and the opportunity of attending tutored beading days with very well known experts. We have a membership of some 40 from around the Midlands with a delightful blend of experienced beaders and newcomers.
